NCAA Basketball Final Four

Gonzaga vs South Carolina

The Final Four is set. Not many thought that the South Carolina Gamecocks were going to be in the final four cause I know I didn't. I have a prediction that if the Gamecocks can focus and handle the ball commiting few turnovers they can beat the one seeded Gonzaga Bulldogs. Gonzaga is a team with size who have the advantage on the boards but if the Gamecocks can take smart shots there won't be many rebounds for the Bulldogs to get anyway. I do indeed think Gonzaga will win the game by a slim margin and should be a game for centuries to come.

North Carolina vs Oregon

The Tar Heels and the Ducks. One of the 2 amazing Final Four games we will have in store. North Carolina Tar Heels are a very decorated team with size and speed from Justin Jackson to Joel Berry. They do have injury concerns as Joel Berry does have a sprained ankle and could possibly even sit out the Final Four game although he did tell reports he will not sit out there is always a possibility. This Tar Heel team has size as well with one of the greatest big men in the country in Justin Jackson who is a beast on the boards. On the other side we have the Oregon Ducks who have a great young superstar in Dillon Brooks but are also injury prone as they lost superstar Chris Boucher for the season earlier this season to a torn ACL,

World Baseball Classic Finals Recap

What a game we had last night to cap off an incredible World Baseball Classic drawing 1,000,000 total attendance. The US bats were on fire starting in the 5th inning as they had a 4-0 lead until a while later making it 7-0 and eventually to end the game 8-0. USA pitcher Marcus Stroman threw for 6 no hit innings and was taken out of the game after letting up a double in the 7th inning. The United States biggest hitter all tournament long was the Miami Marlins star Christian Yelich who was in the starting lineup in almost every game of the tournament. This was a great month of baseball for the United States as they win their first ever World Baseball Classic. I believe that if they get the most medals in the 2018 Winter Olympics it should be safe to say the United States is the "Sports Country" or "Sports Champions" as they have gotten 1st place in the summer olympics and have officially conquered baseball which I believe makes them the best sports country in the world.\

NCAA March Madness

March Madness has started and there are already been some crazy things happening. Last night University of New Orleans player tried to choke his own teammate in a 1 point loss to Mount Saint Mary's. I believe that Gonzaga is the worst 1 seeded team in NCAA History I belive the 4 number one seeds should've been Villanova, North Carolina, Duke, and Arizona and UCLA as a 2 seed not a 3 seed. The committe did not respect any of the head to head matchups that were made but di respect the strength of the conferences each of the teams were coming from. I believe UCLA could go far if they consistantly score points each and every game as they are averaging 90.4 points a game as a team. Duke has a very strong team this year despite having some issuses with Grayson Allen they are the best all around team in this tournament in my opinion. Arizona is also a good team that has taken down strong competition in the Pac 12 tournament and could go a long way. Kansa, I don't think Kansas was deserving of the 1 seed because of the loses they have had like they got upset against TCU I feel they are a team that could be easily upset in the 2nd round by a decent Miami Hurricane team.

New England Patriots Free Agency Moves

The New England Patriots have signed former Buffalo Bills cornerback Stephon Gilmore. This means that it could be the end of an era for the Super Bowl saving cornerback Malcolm Butler. The Patriots have reportedly have been trying to get wide reciever Kenny Britt in exchange for Malcolm Butler which would suit the Patriots who are in need of another weapon for superstar quarterback Tom Brady. If Tom Brady doesn't have a declining season like Peyton Manning before his retirement this could be yet another Super Bowl contending Patriots team. With Gilmore joining the Patriots they officially have a decent No.1 Cornerback at a position that they struggled in too cover star wide recievers like Julio Jones. This is a team that I believe even Mark Whalberg could be proud of as the Patriots front office is putting the pieces of the puzzle together too win back to back Super Bowl titles.

Atlantic Sun Championship Game FGCU vs North Florida

The Atlantic Sun Championship game is between Fgcu and North Florida which I believe will be a FGCU blowout and here is why I think so. North Florida's defense has not been the greatest all year especially in the paint. North Florida will not be able to stop Brandon Goodwin who has had a great year averaging 18.2pts per game. People may say the Atlantic Sun is not a hard conference but the only reason it's not competative is because FGCU has been dominating it the past couple of years. I feel that FGCU has officially proved they need to be moved up into a conference for example like the ACC. FGCU only has 2 losses in coference play and will not be any better if they don't have better competition. But back to my prediction North Florida's offense will not be able to produce enough points to compete with the high powered Eagle offense amd it will be a large margin of victory for the FGCU Eagles as they punch in their ticket to the big dance... The NCAA Tournament.
